The problem
ONE TRIBE needed to improve a live platform while continuing to serve customers. Its architecture coupled the customer application and public APIs, making changes harder to test and release.
The work
Through Antler Digital, we reviewed the architecture, separated the customer application from the public API and introduced a staging environment. That gave the team room to test changes before customers saw them. We then worked on onboarding and the pages businesses use to show their environmental impact.
What changed
The simpler architecture made releases easier to manage. The revised onboarding supported customers beyond eCommerce, and brand pages could reflect changes made inside the platform. The engagement grew into ongoing product and technology responsibility; I stayed on as fractional CTO and CPO.
Why this work matters to me
The rebuild was a starting point. Staying involved meant living with the decisions, improving them and helping the business decide what to build next.
